Zhuoyuan Iskandar, a joint-venture company backed by Malaysia’s Iskandar Investment Bhd (IIB) and China’s Zhuoda Group, broke ground yesterday its RM2.6 billion flagship development.

Located in Medini, Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia, the 35-storey Paradiso Nuova comprises 382 apartment units which are, on average, 20 percent larger than their Singapore counterparts.

The development is designed by world renowned architects Ong&Ong and is just 10 minutes away from Singapore’s second link. It is an affordable yet high-end quality development that offers an exciting opportunity for buyers on the look out for a luxury lifestyle living concept.

Wang Bin Wu, Chief Executive Officer of Zhuoyuan Iskandar Sdn Bhd, said: “Iskandar Malaysia is a leading international example of diligent planning and foresight on the part of the Malaysian government. Throughout the region there are exceptional investment opportunities and we are honoured to be able to play an integral role in contributing to Iskandar Malaysia’s growth with the development of Paradiso Nuova.”

He noted that Paradiso Nuova, which is set to be completed in 2017, enables the company to “bring to life a standard of living which represents the best of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Kuala Lumpur, but at a significantly lower cost base and backed by attractive investment incentives.”

Notably, over 80 percent of the released units have been booked.

The event was also attended by IIB President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Syed Mohamed Ibrahim and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
